Official Plans for viewing the eclipse from Lebanon

  Visit https://eclipseinlebanon.com!

The Lebanon Community Foundation "Cheadle Lake Park" is hosting " Party in the Path"!   Three days of camping on our site on August 18-19-20, and a viewing party on Monday the 21st. We are still planning and organizing with local vendors in the community.

Tentative plans call for a concert on the evening of Saturday August 19th. Train excursions in the Santiam corridor. Food vendors on site and other local activities to be determined.  We will offer out-of-area guests information on planning one day self guided tours to The Oregon Coast, Cascade Mountains,  Woodburn Outlet Mall, Linn County Covered Bridges, The Oregon Gardens, Silver Creek Falls and other potential trips.

Contact Ronn Passmore 541-990-0240 ronnpassmore@comcast.net or Lebanon Chamber of Commerce 541-258-7164 for information related to camping fees and registration.

Camping will mostly consist of Dry Camping for motorized vehicles and trailers and tent camping.  There are a limited number of full hookups available. We have room for up to 200 units on site, with overflow property available if needed. Those who register early will receive prime camping spots. Porta Potties and dumpster service will be provided on site, but we have no RV Dump on site. It is located about 4 miles away.

Safety glasses for viewing will be available on site for a nominal fee. We will experience 1 minute 38 seconds of totality.
