Official Plans for viewing the eclipse from Hiawatha

The community of Hiawatha, Kansas is in the path of totality for this year's solar eclipse, and we are working on an event to accommodate those who will be traveling in to experience the phenomenon.

On Monday, August 21st, we will be hosting an event called Brown County Blackout, at which we will be providing multiple viewing sites, live entertainment, and an air conditioned community center where visitors can go to cool off, and grab food/beverage.  We do have a Facebook event page - @BrownCountyBlackout - where I will be posting information on lodging, etc.  I will also include a couple promotional pieces that I have been using to market the event as well.
